u can also try www.everydayminerals.com...they have free samples it comes w/ 3 foundations, 1 concealer and a blush! and u only pay for shipping, like less than $4.00. i already ordered my 2nd sample cuz the original foundation colors i chose are a bit too light for my skin, but i know i can just mix some darker ones together with the light. it also contains less ingredients than bare minerals... try it out if u don't want to spend all that money at one time! :)

I have been using Bare Minerals for a few months now, and I can honestly say that I will NEVER use anything else on my face.
I had horrible skin when I first began using it. Pimples, red spots, puffy eyes... you name it! I was skeptical at first because I thought there is no way a powder foundation will give me the coverage I needed. But, after trying it I was amazed. For the first few days I couldn't stop looking in the mirror because I couldn't believe how pretty I looked. People actually told me I looked like I had my makeup airbrushed. Everything blends so well, and the colors are Gorgeous!
This is what I do... First, I use the concealer brush and cover any blemishes and red spots I have. Then I buff the foundation on my face with the full coverage kabuki brush. I use an eye product called "well rested" around my eyes (eye lid and under eye) then i use the Blush brush and use Warmth on my forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. After that, I use Glee on the apples of my cheeks, and Clear Radiance over that. Then I use the Mineral veil over everything to reduce shine. I also recommend a produce from a separate company, PUR Minerals, it is a mineral spray. It works really well with mineral makeup. just one or two sprays sets everything.
I know it sounds like a lot of makeup on your face, but trust me it blends so beautifully that someone could get two inches from your face and not even notice the makeup. The trick is to remember that you do not have to use so much. The first few times I applied it it looked HORRIBLE. I actually cried because I spent like $150 on everything and I thought I wasted my money. But I watched the DVD that came with it and after a few tries, I became a pro :-)
Anyway, I hope this helps! I know I am going on and on, but women spend so much time on their face that I am just so happy that I found something that I love so much :-)
Also, it is so gentle on my face that my skin has actually cleared up a bit. I still have some blemishes, but compared to how my face looked using liquid makeup, it is 100% better.

It is wonderful! I love it and I will never use anything else. I have been using it for about 18 months and I have found that a little goes a long way and that makes it last longer than any other makeup I've used. Also, I have a friend that tried the cheaper versions and you get what you pay for. Bare Minerals was created in 1976 ! Dermatologist have been recommending this product for years, finally everyone is catching on.

Bare minerals is one of the best foundations out there. It helped my skin clear up quite a bit and its really simple to apply. As and aspiring make-up artist, this foundation is perfect for a natural look on your skin. You wont ever have to worry about orange shades or lines near your hairline or chin. It feels light and amazing too. The concealer hides any problems zits or acne scars that you may have and the foundation blends everything and covers up small imperfections. The "warmth" bronzer is perfect for that extra tint of sun exposure! The warmth is by far my favorite product because it gives you that back from the beach look all year round. Last, the mineral base is applied to hold everything on. I like to apply this product a couple times a day, because bare minerals does wear off like any other product. Also, it feels really great on your skin.
So that is what Bare Minerals does overall. That all comes in the basic starter kit when you first purchase it. If you find that you like it a lot, you can sign up to get it shipped to you once every 6 weeks. I recommend that because it tends to run out in about that time. Hope this helps !

I am also a bareMinerals lover - have been using it for 9 years now. My face also cleared up when I started using it. I have tried other minerals, but I always go back to bareMinerals. Did you know that mineral makeup has been clinically proven to be beneficial for your skin?

they have the new stuff by loreal that's like a bare minerals! it's about $7 on sale, I would try that first. I need a medium coverage and tried it, I kinda liked it, its very dry feeling. I really like the feel of a liquid foundation I guess?!?!?! I think my real problem with the loreal is that their colors seem off for olive tones.
