"My coach in high school used to have us jump rope to increase our verticals. Also, he made us run hills and bleachers on our toes. It burns like hell but definitely helps alot.

I also used to do 4 sets of 100 small jumps reaching to touch a high door way. That also helped. I am about 5'9 and I could almost stuff a full size basketball when I reached senior year of high school."
