THERE IS NO GREATER POWER in the world today than that wielded by the manipulators of public opinion in America. No king or pope of old, no conquering general or high priest ever disposed of a power even remotely approaching that of the few dozen men who control America's mass media of news and entertainment. Ultimately they all sleep in the same bed. We get to hear what they want us to hear.

That is a little tough. If they are left wing, and they usually are, I despise them both. But, because TV has such massive influence and indoctrinating power, I would put them first on my hate list. It has to be said though, that they are usually in bed together in spreading PC and social engineering policies.
With newspapers, at least you should know where they are on the political spectrum, so they are much more benign, although I would personally never read the Guardian, Observer, or Independant, because we already get enough of their left wing opinions from the government and much of the TV media.

I have less respect for the people who buy their garbage and don't do their own facts check. Blindly agreeing with anyone is just plain ignorant.
