Now. In my 40s.
Childhood stunk.
Teens were good at school, but not at home.
20's? Too Poor !
I wouldn't be 30 again for all the tea in China. Single mom stuff is lousy.
40s? Kids are grown. I'm a grandmother. Finally found a good man. Can afford to buy something if I need it. Can hand the kids cash if I want to spoil them since I couldn't when they were growing up.
Middle age is good :)

Honestly I am 35 and happy now then ever before.
I was with the wrong man from 16- 31 and have 3 beautiful children from him. I no longer even talk to him. My children are happier too.
This is all due to meeting someone who is content with me for who I am. He loves my children just the same they love him. Ask them and that's their DAD. Between us we have 9! None get left behind.
We agree to disagree. Keys in our home is Love, respect, and knowing none of us are perfect. We don't judge for errors for discussing the pros and cons of life keep us level.
Though we are nowhere near picturesque, I have been told we are just for the fact the love in this home is abundant.

Wow great question, I think 20...so far but I have had some great times since then. I was just starting my adult life with a child, marriage and few bills. Needless to say things have changed since then but in a great way. I am very pleased with my life 12 years later with another child and still a great marriage but many more bills...

Sadly that question can never be answered until your life is over. Relatively you can think back to happier times, but the best may be yet to come.

Personally I think it will be between 25-35. As you get older there is less and less you can do and you tend to take less chances in your life.

I am happier now in my twenties, than in childhood and teenage years. I think I will be happier as I grow older since I am constantly learning better ways to deal with suffering.
