Go to an iron monger and buy a knife steel and sharpen them yourself, hold the steel in left hand pointing away from you, take the knife in right hand, blade towards you and slide blade against the steel working towards you, do this on alternate sides of the blade until your knife is sharp. Don't worry there is a small guard at the handle so you don't cut yourself, it only takes a minuet or two. A knife steel will only cost a couple of pounds.

Ask at your local tool shop, they have the wet stones grinders to sharpen chisels and planes, some will also do knifes if they have the right jig.
