To Miss / Mrs Nadine

Thanks for your comment.. But pardon, the point is not that I want to take control from the user. The point is that my program uses a multiple document format (MDI) and at any one time many windows can be opened, and I fear that if the user closes only one window traces of it and of the other windows (forms) will still be in the user's memory and in his/her processes (in the task manager), which makes the PC sluggish. Thus, I wanted to find a way to make the user be able to close the program only formally from the "Exit" option, so as to avoid the problems I explained above.

What do you think? I hope you give me more feedback.

I know this already, but this will remove the form's icon, and I do not want this.

In the form's property their is a controlbox option. Change it false.

Why would you want to take the control away from the user like that?

*I'm not saying you would do it, but this could be used for a nefarious purpose, like pop-up ads.
