I don't think it is, remember Nintendo built a huge rep on the t.m.n.t games back on the first nes and the 2nd one arcade version which was huge in sales so it comes as no suprise that they are focusing on a cartoon such as that to attract younger fans

No, nintendo and its programers are putting most of their budget into r&d for the wii and games like james bond, SSBB, and other classics. it will continue like that until the gamecube is completely obselete.
