well, everyone is right, bleach "stains" and has irreversible effects. Unless your mom is like Joan Crawford (mommie Dearest), I don't think you should throw them away or hide them. Accidents happen and although she may get a little hot, I doubt it will be a life changing event. Can they be turned in a pair if shorts? Could you start a new trend? Give the rit(it's in the laundry aisle- there is liquid or powder, I like the liquid) a try but PLEASE ask your mom before doing that cause that can make an even bigger mess...

remember the age old saying..... there's no use crying over spilled milk

There is absolutly nothing you can about it because bleach eats the color. However, what you can do is dye the whole pair of jeans. I have done the same thing. The dye only costs a couple bucks.

Bleach unfortunately takes the colour out of a garment, your only option is to completely bleach them then recolour them. If they are very dark you may try just recolouring. It is not expensive to buy dye from the pharmacy or supermarket.
Good luck

Buy RIT Color Remover (Takes all the color Out)
Then Dye them back to Brown

Good Luck!
