It's 'their' jumpers, and I don't know why they eat them, maybe they're hungry.

why DON'T they.
see.. people "eat their jumpers", when they're unaware they're doing so, or when they're scared or bored. for some as yet unknown reason the taste of wet material thats been chewed is rather appealing to small childeren, *but hey, kids eat fred all the time. **fred is what i named my pot of clag glue.
apparently chewing on your jumper is addictive, and while it doesnt taste GREAT, its often comforting.
