Kobe has a good fadeway but the best fadeaway shooter has to be Dirk Nowitzki. I hate him SO MUCH but thats the only shot he can make unless its a three or regular shot. He cant drive or post up and his fadeway in unblockable.

I think the current player with the best fadeaway shot would be Kobe Bryant. However, the best EVER would be Wilt Chamberlain. It is a common misconception that Wilt was, like Shaq, just a dunker. The truth his that Wilt's deadliest weapons were a turnaround fadeaway jumper from the left block and a deadly finger roll from the right. I mean, the guy scored 50 points per GAME for the entire 1961-62 season destroying people with the fadeaway.

Definitely Kobe Bryant. When he goes up in the air for a shot, he releases at the top of his jump so the defenders that go up at the same time with him, they come down sooner. Therefore, he can fadeaway on his shot with ease.

I would first say MJ, but in second, I would have to have a tie with Kobe and Dirk.
