I am planning to go to Gulmarg in a few weeks and was wondering how I am going to get from Srinigar up to Gulmarg, any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is regular bus service . Private tour operators are also there. If U R going to Sri Nagar as a tourist , U will require vehicle to visit different places. Likewise U can take a vehicle for Gulmarg also. It is about 50 kms. from Sri Nagar.

My Suggestion is take tour package in which all the site seeings are included like Gulamarg, Sonmarg etc

If u have the time u cld drive it the drive is beautiful. Or there r buses both run by the state and pvt operators
