I'm 22 and really not that heavy a beard. Have had a couple electrics: some get fairly close but irritate skin, only a Norelco doesn't burn me. But I only use when I'm in a hurry (like every morning when I oversleep)............when I have time, a regular razor and gel: shave twice.....once with the grain than once against.......super smooth without irritation.
