What is the deal with palmetto bugs?

I've found two in my apartment this week. Is it likely there are more? How would I know?

Boric acid is like magic for insect pests. Get some at Home Depot or similar. Sprinkle along baseboards where bugs crawl. It gets in the joints and paralyzes them. At first you'll se many more appear dead, but it will taper off fast. Repeat every month or so to keep them at bay.

If you live a warm climate, there are more, just get used to them.

ugly hairy bastards aren't they. we use Dursban twice a year. they still get in but they don't last long.
