I think as long as they're washed properly, they're in good shape, and they still fit, they're ok to keep. If they don't meet any of those conditions, toss em out.

WELL YOU BUY THEM WEAR THEM WASH THEM then the elastic start to become loose so you toss them.
Usulaly they geta second life as a dusters or polishing rags for the car so they also have a life after life if you like

I think that as soon as the panties start to get a little ragged then you may want to invest again.

I wear mine continously for three weeks straight then throw them away and buy a new pair. By that time they've got so many streaks in them there's no point in washing them because they would just soil my other clothes.

its kind of you should toss them right before they start to get fryed..like if you see a small little tear or thread..toss them..and of course any stains of any variety..thats just nasty...
