I've been using my washing machine since 12 years ago.

It does not spin from time to time and water is also leaking from time to time.

What can be wrong with it?

Need advice whether to repair it or buy new one.

12 years old is a good run these days. I would say its time for a new one. Even if you buy an new one and get special repair insurance for it they normally don't allow more than 5 years for this. So this tells you that the insurance companies believe that 5-6 years is a normal life expectancy for a washing machine these days. My grandmother's lasted a absolute age - but long ago they did not wash as much as we do today so the system did not work as hard. Also they were built to stronger standards back then. Nowadays these things have built-in redundancy and only last 5-10 years max. Also you could look to replace it with a system that is a little larger so you can get double bed duvet's into it - bet you, if you have a front loader, it is not possible to wash your duvet, you will be able to do this in a new one. Hope this helps, good luck.

Your washing machine is 12 years old! You have really gotten your money's worth out of them! Honestly it's time to move on! Today they have washers and dryers that are so efficient they not only save you time but money as well!

I'd recommend a pair of front loaders from Whirlpool, or Kenmore. They're great. They hold tons of clothes and you have tons of different options to wash things and get them just the way you want!

If you don't want front loader go for either the Whirlpool Cabrio. It recently got rated #1 washing machine by consumer magazine. I have one of these as well (I havetwo sets of washers and dryers) and this is by far my favorite washer I've ever had. I really recommend it.

Just buy the matching dryer and you're ready to go!
