why would a noise at about 202 decibels kill you instantly? and what is the shock?

Remember that decibels are on a logarithmic scale 20 decibels is 10x higher than 10, 30 is 10x louder than 20. If you understand how that math works you can see that at 202 decibels you are dealing with extremely high energy levels.
Now, there is a little thing called TNS, Traumatic Nerve Stress, that is suffered by people near bombs exploding. The body's system overloads and shuts down.
If you look at these things working together you may have a recipe for getting snuffed, but I can't give you any evidence that that is true.

Well, a jet planemay reach 150 decibels, so 202 isn't that outrageous. It would cause pain, definitely, since that level is about 140 decibels. May cause damage to the ear, too. But death or a great physical shock, no.
Avoid such loud noises!
