I'd rate it 7 out of 10. Mind you I was too close to the screen.... one of my friends is short sighted.

I saw some of the film again on trailer or behind the screens on normal TV and it looked like a different film to me. haha

Next time I'll sit right up at the back and watch it from there. My short sighted friend can go and buy some specs! haha

LOVED THE FILM! Makes you want to go out and fight the world.

Mind you not everyone feels the same.... some thought it was pants while others awesome.

Great effects and style.... I have been reading the 'Art of 300' as well graphic novel plus behind the screens on various programmes. Great film... was a bit disappointed that there were no spartan women in battle as they did have tough women join in with the war back suring the Spartan times.

Don't go expecting a story as it's all fantasy and loosely based on a historical battle. Its more based on Frank Miller's graphic novel. Don't forget to check your brains at the door and enjoy the film!!!

I'd call it an 8. Very good film, though not even close to historically accurate (not that it's trying to be, it's more of a fantasy version of historical events). The visuals were great, and the battle scenes were excellent.

It's a long film that never let your eyes of the screen. The visualization was fantastic and after the movie you'll feel Spartan.

I'll give it a 10.

children sitting behind me whispering throughout, kicking chairs.... Grrrr

Visually stunning, great action scenes.

tactically laughable, they would of died within the first few minutes of battle as the "disciplined Phalanx" broke ranks and spread out.

never felt like there were 300, it was more like 30 of them.

Visually: 9
story: 3
battle realism: 1
gore: 10

overall: 7
