I agree with you, only to a certin extent. that man should not be simply the money producer.

But

We need to be mechanical in life.
You can not sit or sleep and relax the whole day,
in the name of
trying not to be mechanical

If you observe, busy bees do not get mcuh disease.
its only the relaxing ones that get all the diseases.

We may therfore conclude that
it is the biological requirement that
man has to be busy doing work or be mechnaical

but again back to your point

Man should not become mechanical money producer

He should not spend the day idling away the time,
but by doing things which will improve the family

No doubt we are but in the competitive world no one can be away from the fire.
Your desires and expectations are so high that to met and survive you have to have mechanical money.
Growth and above all your spouse, children, parents and above all you will not be able to keep any one happy.
What will then you do if you will not be producing money, social service will not fulfill your stomach when you will be hungry.
accept this change you will also have to be a part of it else you will be nowhere in the race of successfull people.
So be positive and optimistic.

Amassing money is also not wrong so long it is put to the use for the benefit of common and poor.
