i've had my tongue pierced for about 3 yrs now, and i want to take it out, once i take it out, can i eat straight away? does it close up straight away? i really don't have a clue how to take care of it once it is out please help

i had my tongue piercing in for 6 years and i took it out because i was fed up biting it when i was eating i takes 24 hours to heal and you dont really need to do anything to your tongue and i eat straight away with mine out xx

Once you take it out, thats it! You never have to worry about it again.
Mine closed up VERY quickly and I couldn't stick another ring it in again.

I had one and when i took it out it closed up within a day, just carry on like normal when you take it out, food doesnt get in the hole

i've heard that they close up very quickly but it's best not to eat for a few hours to prevent infection!? also don't eat salty foods for a while

you can eat with the damn thing in I had prime rib shortly after having mine done..........................next time think B4 you leap
