Just seen an add for Norton 360..then there is the XBOX 360, Yahoo 360 etc etc

In ad copy and brand name terms -- in advertising terms -- "360" is the new "e". In the mid 90s, anything that tried to sound edgy had an "e" stuck in front of it. Emoney, Etrade, Etravel, etc. Then it was "i" -- iPod, iMatress, iSandwich. These trends come and go... "360" is of the same ilk.

360 means that you can see everything in a 3 dimensional space noting that it is 360 degrees. they give the meaning of their products as sort of everything you'll need or something close to it

360 I am guessing is the buzz word for sucker bought one?
actually it is referring to 360 degrees ie global full circle which we both know is not the case and norton<<< eeeek wat a pc of crap to use.....
