No why:you like it because it gives you moments of joy back from the past
You are not weird:rappers are weird

No, not at all. I don't think of music as race. As a kid I listened to nothing but country music. Yes I grew up in the country. But today I listen to most everything. Country, Rock, Hip Hop, Rap. By the way, I am in my fifties.

Flashback “Drift Away” Lyrics, recorded by Dobie Gray
DRIFT AWAY (Written by Mentor Williams)
Day after day I’m more confused
and I look for the light through the pouring rain
you know that it’s a game that I hate to lose
I’m feeling the strain, ain’t it a shame.
Oh, give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n roll, and drift away.
Oh, give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n roll, and drift away.
Beginning to think that I’m wasting time
I understand the things I do
the world outside looks so unkind
I’m counting on you to carry me through
and when my mind is free
you know a melody can move me
and when I’m feeling blue
the guitar’s coming through to soothe me
thanks for the joy that you’ve given me
I want you to know I believe in your song
Rhythm and rhyme and harmony
You help me along, making me strong
Oh, Give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n roll, and drift away.
Oh, Give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n roll, and drift away.
Thats that ****

It's okay for anybody to like any music they want.I love the country music the best.It doesn't make you wierd for liking country because if it does then it means all the young teen girls that like rap are wierd. So no.

No, I'm a black woman who grew up listening to it because my mom did also. I love Johnny Cash and I knew about him before he died. Nothing is wrong with that.

Music is not for a specific race. It's what makes you feel good that matters. I listen to rock, pop, rap, oldies, and R&B.

Nope....one of my best friends is one of the biggest rednecks you will ever come across...& he is black also....he loves to country dance...wears boots & hats & wranglers....used to rodeo until a bull messed him up....but...no....there is nothing wrong with it....skin color is only cosmetic...it is what is inside that matters....
