How many points do you need to get on your SATs or any of those tests to be able to be worthy of a scholarship? And on top of that, how much do you need to be accepted by a high end university like Harvard, Yale or Oxford?

Many scholarships don't care what you got on the SATs. If they are academically based, you'd want about 700+ on each section.

To get into Harvard or Yale, you'd want to score 700+ on each section anyway. However, even if you scored a perfect 800 on each section, that doesn't mean they'll offer you any scholarship just cuz you did well on the SAT. ALL their students do about that well.

Oxford is in England. I don't even think it cares if you take the SAT or not. US based schools are the ones that might want to see a SAT score.

Well, it certainly depends on the type of scholarship you are trying to get. Obviously, a scholarship that is for writing or what not is not really going to be concerned with your mathematics score. Just the same, a mathematics scholarship won't really care much about your language or history scores.

As for the second question, the SAT scoring has changed in the past year or so, so I am of no help in that. I hope someone else can help you better

I know to get a full ride to one particular school I was looking into a score of 25-28 on the ACT was necessary. I don't remember the SAT score, but they will certainly tell you if you look up the financial aid or scholarship info at the website for the university.
