there are no pros. only cons... your parents want nothing to do with you, or they treat you like a slave. you are not allowed to do grown up things, but to young to do kid things. for those who talk about "going out" and stuff, most of them end up in trouble. no one will ever listen to you. no one will trust you. (even if you have done nothing wrong no one will trust you on any thing because of your age)
and all those people saying no responsibility are spoiled little brats. I have nothing but responsibility. I am a leader in 4 different clubs, I am a Jr leader in church, I cook for my family and others, I clean the house, I am trying to get a job (not working out right now, but still trying) I am in college and high school at the same time. and I regularly baby sit my younger siblings.

i'm 16, and i'd prefer to be 18 of course!
i'm italian, and we can get a driving licence at the age of 18..
the main pro of being a teen is that you have no responsability and you can enjoy yourself a lot..the cons are our parents, and the fact that we have to wait some years before doing what we want

pros: you're still a kid...not quite as much is expected of you...depending on your parents and who you are as a person
cons: I could give you about a million...
cliques, can't make decisions you believe you should be able to, limited freedom, depression, cutting, suicide, losing friends, hormones changing...being a teenager is often the hardest time in one's life...
I'm only fourteen, so I don't really know if I would want to be older...I know that the crap the comes with being a teenager is horrible, but I also know that what happens now impacts the adult that I will be in the future.

Pro's no having to work to pay bills, no nagging wife to make me nuts, only having to keep my room clean and help around the house. Watching cartoons until my brain becomes a cartoon. just having fun and enjoy being young.
Con's living with parents that are strict, limited money supply, having a curfew, not being allowed to date and not having girls in my room. Grades becoming an issue.

Pros: You dont have to have a real job. You can mooch off your parents and it's socialy acceptable. There are parties all the time. it's easier to stay thin.
Cons: You have to live by your parent's rules.

Pros: NO responsibilities, high school, spending time with friends, having fun, going out.
Cons: Not old enought to make some decisions, Not old enough to go clubbing, drink alcohol, Mom and Dad have to know where you are. I would like to be in my young twenties, I am 22 right now.

PROS: More freedom, more money? more stuff more choices, soon you can drive
CONS: More responsibility (that can go either way) steriotyping kind of sucks cause I guess some people think that all teens are alike, jerks.
