In the pulldowns, click "View", "Toolbars", and then check "Address Bar". This holds true for both Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer. Same design.

If you have toolbars locked, you might have to unlock them in the "View", "Toobars" pulldown before you can resize the address bar into a format where you can actually see the current address.

Hope this helps.

At the top of your browser, in a blank spot, right click and click on Address Bar (you should then see a tick appear next to it). That will bring it back.
