Well, if she hasn't been "around the block a lot" , i'm sure it'll be safe. and if she doesn't have any stds it'll be safe.
and yes, it's good. a lot of guys like to go down on a girl as well as girls liking guys to go down on them.
Besides, Just by this, you seem a little "immature." as in age wise, and I don't think you two should be engaging in any sexual activities.
&& I just want to say something. If you aren't comfortable with going down on her or "licking" her, then don't. and dont let her pressure you. If she bugs you about it, just be honest with her.

If you have concerns try a little plastic wrap. Put it over her area. Most is thin enough to not block any feeling but it will give you a layer of defense

- everything's clean (why not have a shower together first?)
- no one has any STDs
- she's not 'on'
if you're still worried you can get latex sheets, made out of the same stuff as condoms, but that might kill the romance a bit.

If you're talking about her behind make sure she showers first if you chose to. It could get you sick (from the bacteria) if she's not clean. You have to be comfortable & that's the most important thing.
