Yep, smacked my head on the table at the same time, and then when I finally did sit on the chair, the back legs broke and I ended up on the floor again !!!!

I've got a better one. I had a very old typist's chair and sat on it once too often, the central pole came up through the seat and almost .... well, it's a good job I jumped up sharpish like.
I put it out for the bin men to take away but it was there for a couple of weeks and my nephew told me that every time he passed it, he winced.

loads of times ! the funniest time was one christmas eve and i had rearranged the furniture to accomodate the christmas tree, i went out for my normal christmas eve dinner time drink or two (pre children!) i came in a little worse for wear and went to sit in the chair and crushed the christmas tree and pressies instead cos i had forgotton i had moved the furniture! i had been trying to act sober in front of my partner but that kinda gave me away ! lol
