Everyone says dreamweaver is the best web-design software and it probably is but it is designed for professionals that already know how to design and is cluttered up all to heck.

I want a program that is clean, simple for beginners, and is fun to use, not frustrating, but is also powerful enough to do reasonably sophisticated things.

Xara seems to be close but it isn't really web-design software. Help me find the perfect program! Price is not an issue. Thanks.

I used Dreamweaver in the past, but now I got a little bit familiar with CSS and I use Microsoft Expression Web exclusively for web-design. I love it, it's lighter than Dreamweaver and does exactly what I nead

I think we can address your question at several levels.

First, if Dreamweaver and Cold Fusion are a bit much for you, you might want to try:

websitebuilder.cookiesdomainshop.com

Even though price is not an issue, WebSite Tonight starts at $4.99 per month but for a little more than twice that, you can have all the Web pages you'll probably ever want, and so much more. As an added plus, it's fun and easy to use and hosting is included in the price, which means we perform the backups, provide firewall and 24 x 7 monitoring as well as 24 x 7 support.

This also supports Flash Intros and should get you started. You can create and e-commerce site using this tool. If at some time you decide that Cold Fusion and Dreamweaver are right for you, our hosting does offer support for Cold Fusion MX7 at:

hosting.cookiesdomainshop.com

Good luck with your Web site!

I had that question ask many times and the only answer I give is that is bast on opinion, due to the fact their are so many html editors out there.

That is true that dreamweaver was built for those who have been doing it for awhile, but that is based on the fact that they have been using that software since they came out. As long as you know html code and know how to save to the right doc type then your set.

Of course most people still code the old fashion way and that is through notepad or notpad++ because it is a just a regular text program but still has powerful, depending on your knowledge of html and other coding langauges.

I am dream user, but I don't use everything because I like ot had code and not use every single tool it has. I also use it tidy up the code as well.

dude, you need a simle and easy-to-use IDE, Dreamweaver is not simple, but it's REALLY easy-to-use, install it and read "Getting started"...
