how will u prepare solution of 300mM by mixing two solutions of 50 and 1000mM concentration ?

2. prepare any volume and use as much of both solutions u want.

you use x of 50 mM and y of 1000mM . Total volume =x+y

50x +1000y = 300(x+y)

50x+1000y = 300x+300y

700y = 250x divide by 50 both sides

14y = 5x

y =( 5/14 ) x

if you use 700 mL of x ,you add 250 ml of y
