The Pearl. You can do a little more with it. They both can take pictures, but the Pearl can send and receive picture messages. The SideKick has a mp3 player, while the Pearl not only has a mp3 player, but a video player as well, so you can watch movies, videos, and YouTube videos (with conversion software)
The battery life on the Sidekick isn't anywhere as great as the Pearl if you ask me.
