Revelle, but its for those you are bioscience majors. If your wanting to become a doctor, don't go to UCSD go to a state school and earn high grades. Getting ok grades at UCSD will not get you into their med school. UCSD is better at the graduate level. Have fun, and earn good grades, then apply to UCSD for grad school. Undergrad at UCSD is a meat grinder, for nothing. Ask their alums!

I agree that Muir probably has the easiest GE. However, I think Warren is the most happening place. Revelle dorms are clustered in one giant building so they tend to be noisy although some think that it's a good way to meet new people. Marshall and Roosevelt are near RIMAC, which is an awesome sporting facility so if you are into sports and working out, they are good places to be. Sixth college, being new is still catching up.

But none of this really matters unless you are going to be a freshman and planning to live on campus. I believe there are some transfer housing but this is very limited. If you are transfer student, pick Warren because they have the least GE classes.

I would think that would depend on what you consider best in all of those features. For instance, Muir college (in the minds of many, including myself) has the easiest GE sequence (Warren too maybe if you're non engineering), is supposedly the most social (though the buildings are rather bland), and is relatively close to Rimac, Geisel, etc...Though, if you're really into humanities maybe you'll like ERC and if you like humanities (and really nice dorms...). if you're into humanities AND sciences, maybe Revelle. If you're engineering, then Warren is where most go, but it's kind of far away from everything. Take a look at each colleges GE's and decide which college's sequence you like best

I dont know if there is a best college because each college has its pros and cons

Muir-is close to the beach, has pretty good dining hall, has pretty big rooms, close to pretty much the rest of the campus, and has easy GEs (which makes it better if you have lots of credit from AP classes)... however the dorms look ugly from the outside, and since there are so many muir students usually the students either live in a triple or single

Revelle- is right next to CLICS, has lots and lots of dorms, has a decent cafeteria and POTS is open until 12, and it is the oldest college.... however it is know for it its hard GEs because there is so many requirements... esp. in math and science

Marshall- is next to rimac and OVT (which is also open late)... its also kinda near everything...and the dorms arent bad...its a pretty average college....

Warren- its pretty far from the rest of campus... and its known as the school for engineers...

ERC- it has really really nice dorms... they are one of the newest and nicest however its pretty far from the rest of campus, at i heard the writing requirement sucks because they require a couple of quarters of it....

Sixth- its the newest college and its close to price center... but the dorms arent that good (they are known as camp snoopy) the dining hall isnt good and its pretty far from campus....

so in the end... i like muir and marshall the best
