Never to distract from a mistake. but I used to be able to cry on demand when I was younger. It was great. All I had to think about was my poor little pet that had died and I was in floods of tears. My Mum is the only one who can tell if its real or if its a put on. I still do it on occasion to annoy her.

It can happen. Either sexes(especially a manipulative woman/man)can cry on cue without anything to incite it(Take a look at soap-opera actors and celebrities). Though it would cause a distraction,if the person knows you are faking it just to get out of a sticky situation you dug for yourself,or for someone else, whatever the circumstances may be,said person would be in big trouble, don't you think?

Yes indeed,I performed this random act of desperation last time I was escorted by the Sheriff to the substation for interrogation(they call it questioning) I gave a kid a ride one day and dropped him off at his destination(a friend of my sons) he in turns pulls of a robbery steals a wall safe with antique guns and a bunch of other things,he gets caught and proceeds to tell Sheriff Hickabilly that it was all my fault,,my idea,I masterminded and planned the whole thing.......Oh my god I thought they were gonna lock me up and throw away the key. This kids been in a lot of trouble and I think they want to try him as an adult so he decided he was gonna try and pin it on me......it was close to me getting locked up........but I didn't.Cried on command,,,,sobbed.....academy award winning stuff.....sincere sweet sorrowful sobbing wit the Kleenex and the whole bit.

I've never used it for evil, but I can cry on demand. Is it bad to be a guy that can cry on command?

Drawing attention to myself is the LAST thing I want to do when I've made a mistake. I'd rather be as nonchalant as possible so we can all just gloss over it and keep rolling.

Yes. I can cry on demand. It has gotten me out of more than one speeding ticket. I can also laugh on demand. That has gotten me promoted more than once.

Not really so much on demand so much as when my personal freedom is being threatened...like when I'm being chased by university campus cops....
