It's a great game, but it's true that you will have problems with your girlfriend! A friend of mine was actually threatened by his girlfriend that she would leave him if he didn't stop playing FM 2007 and started paying some attention to her!

I've been playing C Man since the 94/95 version came out and I'm still addicted - God knows how many months i've sat trowling the transfer market and wondering who to buy who could possibly replace my injured left back at Scunthorpe United (lol). Then there's several months actually playing the damn game!!! Yes my friend, go out and buy it, just hope your girlfriend is understanding.
p.S What about getting her involved and playing multi-player .... nah, stupid idea!!!)
