Ok, this is my second child and with my first I didn't lose my mucus plug. Now with my second child I have. What do I do. Do I call and schedule an appointment, and is it still safe to have intercourse?

How far along in your pregnancy are you? I lost mine the night before I had my son and was told it was usually what happens just prior to the onset of labor.

The mucus plug coming out means your cervix is starting to dilate, so PLZ contact your OB, and let them know. They will further advise you what your next steps are.
