in the LOST's s3e8 desmond said that charlie was going to die. but it was 5 episodes ago and he is still alive. is he really gonna die?

eventually probably he will, but Desmond has been changing or getting in the way of Charlie dying. Like in that episode where that Claire wanted to capture the birds and Desmond messed it up and later Claire followed Desmond and asked him what was going on and he said told her that he did it because had it been Charlie, Charlie would of have been knocked down by a wave while trying to capture a bird.

Everyone dies, so it is only natural to assume that Charlie will die.
However I'm doubting that he will die next episode. that would be too obvious.
