Well I sure hope so.
The Reds did really well in knocking out defending champs Barcelona, and certainly received a great morale boost. Their form in the league has been erratic, to say the least, but they have been pretty good in the C. League. Their lack of goals could be a major problem though. And let's just hope no one goes around wielding a golf club ever again.
Chelsea and Manchester United are two great teams, but their focus will be on the league. Not to say Liverpool will be neglecting the league, but to a lesser extent. Thus they have a certain advantage in that sense.
Even though I don't love them, I admit that Man. U is a pretty good team at the moment. They're doing excellently in the league now, and Ronaldo is in brilliant form. However, their lack of options up front, Van der Sar's injury and Rooney's so-so form may be a potential banana skin.
Chelsea, I do not have much respect for them as a whole, but I think JT is a brilliant guy. His courage, bravery and determination is highly commendable. Individually they have some good players, such as Cech and Robben. But their leakiness at the back, their over-reliance on Drogba for goals and their internal managerial issues may prove to be their downfall.
The other European teams have a good chance as well. I only follow the EPL, so I don't know these teams in depth, but I have to say AC Milan is not the team they were 2 seasons ago. The match-fixing scandal has left them depleted. They have gotten this far though, and on their pedigree alone I wouldn't count them out.
Valencia and Roma are pretty good teams, with good standings in their leagues. Valencia have good players, notably in Miguel, del Horno, Albelda, Villa, Morientes, JoaquÃn and Viana. Villa and Morientes, especially, is the most feared partnership in La Liga, their goal-scoring prowess could prove decisive. However, as with Chelsea and Man. U, they will be more focused on the wide-open title race in the league.
I am not too familiar with Roma, but I do know they have good players in Panucci, de Rossi, Mexès, Wilhelmsson, Perrotta, and of course Totti, so they'll won't fare too badly. But they are only in the competition as a result of the match-fixing scandal, so I don't know. Regardless, they have earned their place in the quarter-finals, and I suppose they have as good a chance as anyone else.
PSV are rather resilient nuts, and cannot be underestimated. Ronald Koeman is a competent coach and has the ability to orchestrate an upset. Liverpool and PSV had played each other in the group stages, and know each other well. However, I think Liverpool will be able to overcome them.
As a Liverpool fan, I will admit that my views may be biased. However I am entitled to my opinion, as you are yours.
So, peace. :)

i think that liverpool will win the league title this year they have played very well in the group stages and did well to knock out barcelona (i was there at both of the matches) psv will be a tough team to beat but i am sure that rafa will get his tactics right and liverpool will overcome what ever threat will meet them after that

Liverpool has what it take to win this cup. Provided they keep their head high. After the fallout of the big teams like Barca they is a probability of the cup going England.

It's possible looking at their fantastic history of UEFA competions, but this year if a English team were to win, it would be Manchester United. They're confident in every game even under pressure, and Ronaldo seems unstoppable at the moment. Other wise AC Milan has a chance.

Even if i am a die hard chelsea supporter (BLUE IS THE COLOR...) then still i might say that Liverpool can win this one! Still since chelsea is againts Valencia (most players suspended) will surly reach the semis.
if chelsea and liverpool play head to head............ then dude no chance liverpool gonna win!!!!!!!!

this time, one of the english teams will take the uefa, although i'm an arsenal fan, but i'll go with chelsea, i know that man united has been in it great form, but they not concrete as chelsea, chelsea has world class players, the likes of drogbe, ballack, lampard, cole, rubin, makelele. essien, chevchenko etc, so i dont see any other team that can beat them. but liverpool also has a chance, but a slim one though.
