Cellular respiration has nothing to do with breathing (inhaling and exhaling). But there is a connection, though. Cellular respiration means reactions and processes in the cell to obtain energy (ATP production) with oxidation of fuel molecules. Part of it is oxidative phosphorilation (electron transport chain). This process needs oxygen as final electron receptor (that's why we breath - we need oxygen to accept electrons in the cells). Electrons are transferred from NADH (comes from citric acid cycle) to oxygen through three large respiratory enzyme complexes. Electron transport creates proton gradient, which is used to make ATP molecules.
In photosynthesis, there is also electron transport chain, which "captures" energy from sunlight. But this chain needs electrons, so it gets them from water, producing oxygen. Other part of photosynthesis are reactions that fixate carbon from carbon dioxide (sugar production).
Plants do photosynthesis, but they also do cellular respiration (in order to get energy from sugars they've made).

GCSE homework?
Write out the photosynthesis equation, then underneath it write the respiration equation.
You will see that the equations are the same but proceed in opposite directions.
Photosynthesis uses sunlight energy to combine carbon dioxide and water to make glucose with oxygen as a by-product.
Respiration 'burns' glucose with oxygen to release the energy from the glucose. Carbon dioxide and water are the products.
You'll notice that the energy released from respiration (cellular respiration) used to drive all cell processes is derived from sunlight. No wonder we depend upon plants.

Cellular respiration refers to the contraction and expansion of the globular lung cells, for extraction of Oxygen from air.
In Photosynthesis plants produce their own food with the help of various ingredients via air, water, sunlight, and soil.
