Anythnig bought on line is a huge gamble. you're puting your id and your credit on the internet and if yout pc is phished then that information could be lifted out of your device. the way ebay works is you touch Paypal and set up an account based on your economic business enterprise account or considerable credit card and that's what you utilize to make a bid or a purchase order on eBay. as some distance because of the fact the acquisition is in contact, those sellers have rankings related to their bills and you may seem at them to be certain how many people think of they are good in keeping with previous revenues. you additionally will pay for insurance to be certain you don't get caught with a lemon or a broken product. Postage varies and something is especially a lot defined to you as you bypass. good success.

Yes, I've used it for 4 years without problems. Just take some security precautions. I never answer anything to do with Paypal that is sent to my personal email address -- especially when they want me to go in and verify or update my information. This is phishing and has nothing to do with Paypal. Just be smart with your transactions and think of a difficult password that would be hard for someone to figure out. Everytime I've used Paypal, my money was delivered quickly and without any problems.

Very. Paypal is a payment method used widely now, not just on ebay. I have a business on ebay and have had no problems either with sellers or purchasers. If there is a dispute, they will usually find in favour of the customer.

Yes, if you're sure to use a strong password and keep it safe (don't use it for anything else).

Technically, it's very secure and I've been using it loads for about 4 years and never had any kind of problem. But there are a lot of phishing (phoney) emails relating to paypal, and you have to be on the lookout for these.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to sell a lot on ebay and used paypal as preferred payment. unfortunatly, someone who bought something payed using a fraudulant means.

about 2 weeks after the sale, paypal had removed a lot of my cash to refund the victim of this fraud, leaving me with no money and no goods as i had posted them.

Fair enough for the victim of the crime, but why should i be the victim??? I had no warning from Paypal, no emails, nothing.. I HAD TO PHONE THEM TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON.

they wouldn't reveal any details so i could go to the police about this to me. they wouldn't tell me anything.

last time i use them, in my view they are a bunch of criminals.

They say they are safe and protect you. they do IF you conform to a long long list of things, of which is probably impossible.

No, it's not. I bought a motor skateboard off off ebay for 400 dollars (supposedly backed by a money-back guarantee according to eBay.) He immediately gave me a positive feedback, thinking I would do the same.... The skateboard didn't work nor contain the proper parts so I told eBay I wanted my money back and the told me I had to talk to paypal to do this. Immediately after I told paypal about my problem they deleted my transaction from their history. After leaving a negative feedback to the seller I recieved an ADDITIONAL negative feedback from him when eBay clearly states you can only leave one feedback per transaction and can not edit it. Don't trust them, either one of them.

Yes, it is - especially if you are a buyer.
Is this what you have problems with?
They do take time sometimes when you need to make a claim- We are currently waiting over 5 weeks for them to solve a problem between us and a seller who sold us damaged items.
But security to pay - yes it is - make sure the lock is at the bottom of the page - right hand corner - when paying.
It is the best way to make a payment.

I use pay pal all the time on ebay, and i have found it very safe.
But do not give out your password to any one.
You also get more help when you buy using pay pal ie - if a item is not as described, not recieved ect.
It is also a instant way to pay or recieve money.
If you need any more information there is a bit about pay pal in ebay.
