How can I convince my listener that I'm sincere?

I want to tell her that I can take the responsiblity of a leader but not being proud of my talents, just for the sake of service and the benefit of the group.

The harder you try to convince someone of your sincerity the less likely it is they will think you are sincere...

sincerity must be demonstrated...

as for being selected as a leader in anything the person doing the selecting will be looking for someone with specific attributes and experience.
