Warrants have different levels (distances) at which they can be enforced. They range from within that County only, to Nationwide or even abroad. The court issuing the warrant decides what range the warrant will have.
It's not like the old days where you could hit the State line and be safe.

states have for a long time cooperated with each other. It keeps violators off the streets and or puts more money in their coffers. watch out for Minnesota, 6 months after getting a "fix-it" ticket for a tail light out in Melbourne Florida I got a letter from my state of MN saying I had 10 days to pay the ticket, now 65.00, or get my license suspended for 60 days
