A concrete pad driveway will always outlast an asphalt drive. There are some sections of interstate that is over 40 years old and STILL in good shape, that is poured concrete.......other areas that are asphalt where the state must repave every 5-10 years due to rutting, potholes and wheel groves.

Asphalt will not bond to completely concrete and will flow under the constant weight of your vehicles causing wheel grooves.

If your driveway is oil stained, you can have the concrete faced (strip away the top 1/8-1/2 of material and resurfaced to look new.) or professionally cleaned. Not many contractors will do this as it is cheaper (time wise) to rip up and re-pour than to put the time into a facing of the material.

Yes, actually the asphalt will set better on top of concrete.
Although, I don't know why you would want to if your concrete is in excellent condition.

i cant see why anyone would put asphault over anything

if concrete is excellent why cover it you will then have a junk driveway that needs work every other year
you will be constantly paying to get it resealed

but if you call a asphault company they will say yes its ok just for the business
