Pls tell your mom. Just let her know that you would like to talk to her privately for a minute about something that is important. Then tell her that you started your period, and how long ago.
I know that she'll be relieved to know and not worry about when you are going to start.
It is true that sometimes having a period can be scary but having your mom or a trusted adult friend, or other female family member can help to make this a less scary experience.

You're now a lady. So don't be afraid to tell your Mom.
It's very scary indeed to go through this stage - where you graduate from being a child to that of being a grown-up (an adolescent) -- without anybody to confide in. Try telling your older sister, or if not your best friend. Ask her what to do when you have it, etc. etc. There are many things that you should know that only a confidante can tactfully explain.

Your mum should know. Periods can be scary and sometimes you need to go to the doctor to sort out problems with periods.
Your mum can give you advice and reassurance. If not your mum then an aunty or female family friend?
Its nothing to be ashamed of...it means you are maturing!
Is there a particular reason you are afraid to tell?
Just relax and tell. Your mum might be worrying why you havent had it yet.
Good luck girl!

why are you not telling your mom or female guardian? you are a woman and thats something to be proud of. plus your gonna need pads and sweety you'll need them. you dont need to broadcast to eveyone you see, but it's nothing to be ashamed of at all. NO BIG DEAL. you're not the first girl, and certainly won't be the last. I have had them for what seems like forever. got mine at ten. Hun tell your guardian. ok?

Don't be scarred, every girl goes through it. Now you are a young woman and you should be proud. Tell your parents & bestfriends.. you'll feel 100% better once you do.
