More should be following his lead.
As for other respondents, is supporting the troops sending them over direct from boot camp? With insufficient amour? Sending injured soldiers back before they are ready? 3rd and 4th tours of duty? Improper medical care? REDUCED VA care? REDUCED VA insurance for both vets AND their families? Cuts in pay & service time for active duty NG and Reserves?
If all that sounds so swell to you Why the hell aren't YOU in line at the recrouter so you can get you face shot off?

congressman murtha is a disgrace to armed services. he has turned his back on his fellow marines and is now taking the role of judge jury and executioner whenever a marine is even suspected of any wrong doing in iraq. this is a great leader? there is an old saying in the marines. "once a marine always a marine" however the marines to have people they consider no longer marines, people who they consider ex patriot marines. ones who they feel have turned their back on the marines. Murtha is one of these men. when a marine is beheaded, every marine feels it and every marine has lost a brother. senator murtha says well he was probably a baby raper. senator murtha is a piece of scum and i will dance at his funeral when he has finally died.

Actually, he is the exact opposite of the kind of leader we need. His emphasis on running away from the enemy in Iraq is a style used by other leaders that resulted in 2 million people dying because we ran away from Vietnam. I believe our running away from conflict in Somalia is one reason for 9-11.
