how can i reset my brand-new palm treo 680 back to factory defaults.?

my sister tinkered with it, putting in a 4-digit system password to open and operate it. she can't even remember the password. somebody help, please.

you have to first remove the cover from the back of the phone and then press and hold the red power button and remove the battery.....(Don't let go of the power button) put battery back on the phone and when you see the ACCESS POWERED logo let go of the power button and when asked to reset the phone press the up arrow key on the phone......Its all done....phone will reboot and its all clear...
