Firstly don't be in bed if you are not asleep, get up.
Train your brain to recognise bed = sleep.
That includes reading in bed!!!, sit up in a chair, when you are sleepy, then lie down..
Do not eat or drink 2 hrs before sleeping.
Good old warm milk and honey if you wake through the night helps a quick return to sleep.

Let me guess...... No ONE has ever called you a spaz right? Calm down and stop thinking about all the crap that is going on in your head . Get off the computer, Turn off the TV in your bedroom and try a really boring book instead . If that dosen't work you should seek proffesional help. Or get married. Because everyone knows ... Married women only want to sleep.
