since i gave birth to my baby she is breast feeding then now she is 5 mos. i want to take a milk formula to her but she dont like

have you talked to your pediatrician about this? you may not be using the correct formula for her. they can suggest the best option for you.

another thing you can try is to pump and feed the pumped milk from a bottle and gradually (say 2 oz at a time) mix the formula in with the breast milk but do this gradually.

btw congrats on breast feeding...i tried with my 1st but just couldn't do it.

oh NEVER give an infant honey. this like some other foods should be avoided until the child is at a certain age

Trick her, you should put some brest milk in the bottle and have her drink it. Then do a mixture of 3 parts your milk, 1 part formula, in the bottle of course. We are definately going to make her think that the bottle is equally as good as breast. Then, of course reduce breast milk amount as you add formula amount, until the baby is completely on formula. maybe you should try another brand of formula. you should nurse her sometimes and give the formula sometimes. this is common for babies to reject the bottle

How about soy?
or add honey to it.
