As long as indiscretions do not finish everything.... no one would be left thereafter from the mediocre race to hope any more for Heavenly redemption.

Wow. I don't consider myself a mediocre monkey. I'm a unique individual with individual talents. I may not change the world but I will leave a mark on it and having led a good life I certainly do hope to have earned a place in paradise in the afterlife. There have been some extraordinary humans who have achieved greatness, made the world a better place & would undoubtedly have gone to Heaven.

Jesus came to save us from sin. But I don't consider this a get out of jail free card. I still answer to the person in the mirror. I do the right thing not just for God but to feel good about myself. I have a conscience. Yes it would be nice to go to Heaven but that's not my only reason for being a good person. You shouldn't be good just for hope of reward or fear of punishment for doing evil. Being good should be its own reward. You should feel good when you do the right thing. I have a strong conscience so it doesn't let me away with much. I find cruelty unforgiveable & I will never be deliberately cruel.

Odd, I always notice on Sunday morning how upset the "good christians" are that they have to wait for traffic so they can leave church. It seems that if they truely believed in the divine trinity they could at least make it home without being jerks to the rest of the world.

How many of us have heard that sins don't matter as long as we repent before we die? Who amoung us can truely believe that God grants a clean slate to people who don't even consider the consiquenses of their actions? If God gave us free will because he wanted us to make the right decissions on our own, why would he reward us for chosing to sin?

All the "monkeys" who truely believe, don't seem to even think about it. And by asking a question that asks them to think you have hurt their poor little heads. The fact the they were told by God to do right or face everlasting damnation has not slowed them down, your questions will have no effect.

Last time I checked, I didn't have a tail. Heaven, or the hope of, doesn't redeem our indiscretions. Heaven is awarded those who realize they are hopelessly lost in sin, and rely completely on the merits and work of Christ for redemption.

Modern man are not "Monkeys" nor did they come from them.

As long as they exist it will be possible for them to hope and/or wish for things which will redeem them.

I think the only reason you asked this question was simply to get a rise out of the people who actually have something to believe in. poor boy
