I'm petrified of having miscarried again! I have been so anxious since 5 weeks - when I found out I was pregnant. I had a "missed miscarriage" last year so didn't start bleeding until week 10, although I'd lost the baby around 5-6 weeks. I had a scan at 7 weeks this time and we saw the flicker of a heart beat. I am now 11.5 weeks but am so terrified of going to my dating scan next week only to discover I may have miscarried again. I felt pregnant immediately in my last pregnancy, had nausea, sore breasts etc right upto week 9. This time the only pregnancy symptoms I've had are swollen breasts and tiredness. Is it possible to have miscarried only I not know about it yet?

I had a missed miscarrige in 2001 then went onto have a healthy little girl in 2004 and am now 15 weeks pregnant... that worry never leaves you about the first scan but it isnt common to have a missed miscarrige and the chances of it happening twice arent likely. At 11 weeks like you i was terrified and sure the baby was dead as i hadnt been too sick i just felt tired and had tender breasts, i was sure the baby hadnt made it but 3 weeks ago at 12 weeks i lay on the all familiar table and within seconds we were pointed out the baby's heart beat. I was so sure things had gone wrong when i saw the heartbeat i felt quite disconnected and still do. I still cant believe im pregnant as i dont feel pregnant at all... after having my daughter that was a miserable pregnancy as at no time through it did i believe the baby was coming home with me i honestly thought a later pregnancy could be different, but it seems im worrying 24/7 about this one too..... its a mother thing iv'e decided but i am enjoying this one a little more and im sure things will be ok this time even so i still dont feel pregnant..... the likely hood of seeing no heart beat on that scan is unlikely..... you'l see.... good luck but i bet your baby is doing perfectly well :-)

I wouldn't worry about it, if you saw the heart beat before thats a great sign! Plus if your not having any symptoms of a miscarriage I wouldn't stress about it. As far as the feeling pregnant...just remember that ALL pregnancies are different. I'm 11 weeks with no morning sickness and not really much soreness from my breasts lol. The only thing that makes me sure I'm pregnant is that i have to pee all the time and I'm a lot sleepier than before. I had my first ultra sound last week to check the size of my baby and everything is just fine...we saw the heart beat and the Dr. said everything is going great. Just try to relax and take it easy. I'm sure with having miscarried before it's always in the back of your mind, but don't worry :o).

honestly yes.. it is possible to not know you miscarried yet.. i found out at 11.5 wk scan baby stopped growing at almost 8 wks.. which is awful.. and i never bled or had any symptoms i had to have a DNC>> now with all that ugliness aside.. you have a very small chance of another "missed miscarriage" after seeing the heartbeat like 5% and i am now pregnant with twins and 24 wks along.. never had sore boobs till 14 wks .. and no morning sickness or anything.. i feel the pains and discomforts now.. so stop worrying .. that can only make you insane.. easier said than done! but you can do it .. good luck and heres to an easy uneventful 9 months of pregnancy!

I was very worried about mis-carrying with my pregnancy due to bleeding early on in the pregnancy, When I went for my ultra sound in the 8th week I also saw a heartbeat. My doctor said that as soon as I saw the heartbeat the risk of a mis-carriage decreases. She said that when you have a mis-carraige it is usually because there is something wrong with the baby and you're body will get rid of it as it isn't healthy. A baby that is mis-carried doesn't tend to have a heartbeat. This is what I was told and I'm now 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy little baby so try not to worry too much.

probably not...so dont worry - just try to relax...miscarrying last time does not mean that it is bound to happen again..because its not. each pregnancy is also different so you dont always feel the same symptoms each time.

this is an exciting time for you - so make the most of it and stop thinking the worst...you'll be fine honey & good luck to you...
