Years ago when I lived in NC there was this really cool coffee shop in Asheville where they put together a series of attractions and events throughout the week. I loved it when they had open mik nights and I'd go listen to my friends performing reggae music or talking about community problems. It was awesome cause everyone got along so well. I don't know why but coffee shops bring out the best in people. Maybe becuase it's a relaxing atmosphere. I got to know the owners alittle bit and they both said it was a proserous business. Hope this helps and good luck with future biz if it's what you choose. :)

Oh man, I can tell from your question that someone is trying to make you fit your business idea into a prescribed framework..... like: "unless you can state 1 vision + 3 benefits you can't open a successful coffee shop".

This is fine as long as their framework fits your brain! But there are lots of different business brains and lots of different planning frameworks.

A framework is simply a structure for thinking and planning for your business, to help it succeed later.

I suggest that you find an experienced business person who has a mind like yours and get them to mentor you through your planning. Leave the Benefit/Vision stuff to people who find that approach helpful.

And good luck with your business.

Depends on who you want to bring in. College students like couches and circle seating while business people like tables. Also a few beneifits is you get to make alot of money off of it, also you can learn alot more about the town you are in.

Working 16 hours a day sounds fun; not because you have to, because your employees will steal from you.
