do some mirrors make you look "prettier" and some mirrors make you seem "uglier"? even though theres not MUCH of a difference between the mirrors, they're different. what do u think?

Yes, the curve of the mirror reflects the way you look differently. I have two of the same full-length mirrors in my house--one has nails on the top and bottom and i look skinny, the other one has nails on the sides and I never look thin! Also, lighting will make a huge difference--halogen indoor lights don't do much for one's complexion. Also top lighting will make the dark circles under your eyes more pronounced, and you'll look more haggard.

They're different. Some people would say mirrors that make you LOOK fat, are ugly mirrors. Or mirrors that make you look skinny are prettier mirrors. It depends on the general shape of the mirror.

and the backing makes a difference or if they are slightly curved
