Because marriage is more like a Boxing match then a lottery ticket. The marriage succeds if the good out weighs the bad, not if everything falls perfectly into place. After one boxing match, u see what u need to improve in for the next one.

Sometimes marriages fail bc, the person they were with , were not there soul mate. PPl marry again, bc, they don't want to be alone, they want a family and would like to have a best friend and partner to share there life with and someone to do things with in and out of the sack. My fiance and I both have been married, and we are soon to get married in 6 weeks. I have been divorced over a year and half, he only a cpl of weeks.

marriage is about finding your soulmate, true love, your bestfriend, your confidant, the one who shares the same values and dreams and knows that going into this relationship it is about giving as well as recieving, it is about becoming one! The other reason, is God says let no man be alone. God did not intend for anyone to be alone, but to be with woman and become one.

It would be just as fair to ask,"when people lose at a casino, why do they keep coming back?"

People fall out of a relationship and jump back into one only because they would obviously live with a partner than alone.

Problem is, they didn't take sufficient time to look at themselves and their personality problems; whatever it was that lead to the demise of the previous relationship. This is why you see people getting divorced a second and even third time.

You would think after a second divorce they would start to "get the message" and at least wonder what it is that caused the break-up of two relationships.

Because

"if at first you don't succeed.... try-try again"

And from what I have heard there is some study somewhere that states that in today's day most "first marriages" are like a "practice run" and the second marriages usually last long term.

because it could be that they believe that their maybe someone special out there for them. Everyone wants to be loved and have a companion ship. after the marriage failed it must have been a reason and they take it this as a time to meet someone else that may be good for them.

Because companionship is important for us humans; and because hope dies last. We're always hoping and striving and trying. My question is, why would anyone give up?
